Khalidiya Mall

Abu Dhabi is the capital and the second most populous city in the United Arab Emirates and the largest of the UAE's seven member emirates. Abu Dhabi lies on a T-shaped island jutting into the Arabian Gulf from the central western coast. The city proper had a population of 1.5 million in 2014.
 
 Abu Dhabi's rapid development and urbanisation, coupled with the relatively high average income of its population, has transformed the city into a large and advanced metropolis. Today the city is the country's center of political and industrial activities, and a major cultural and commercial centre. Fortune magazine and CNN stated in 2007 that Abu Dhabi is the richest city in the world.
 
 Abu Dhabi has joined some of the most preferred locations for filming. Crew from Hollywood and Bollywood have made numerous trips down to the Capital in last couple of years. Bourne Legacy, The Kingdom, Syriana, and Furious 7, Star Wars are among the top movies that contain scenes shot in Abu Dhabi.
 
 Khalidiyah Mall is a shopping mall located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, in the densely populated residential area of Al Khalidiyah. It houses 160 stores including Lulu hypermarket, and has an area of 86,000 sq m (about 800,000 square feet). The mall was opened in January 2007 and is run by EMKE Group.
 
 Royal Cinemas Khalidiyah Mall was launched in November 2009 with nine screens. Five screens dedicated to 3D movies, one screen dedicated to VVIP viewing and two screens are equipped with Laser projectors . The Royal Cinemas Khalidiyah has an exclusive “Royal Plus” equipped with “Dolby Atmos” sound system first kind of it in the Middle East. It has a “Royal Class” for VVIP viewing and ‘KIDS’.
